Our digital catalog publisher client, Zmags, recently conducted a survey on what consumers’ shopping habits would be this holiday season. Based on the results, the majority of shoppers will be purchasing on their mobile and tablet devices this year and in-store purchases will go down. Digital catalogs are the 2nd most popular shopping destination after websites. If you’re an online retailer, this is important to think about and implement, especially on multiple devices. Some key findings include:

  • Men are more likely to use tablets and mobile phones to make purchases than women.
  • The #1 frustration for consumers is not having enough product information online.
  • Facebook commerce rises on tablets/mobile phones.
  • Over 50% of 18-34 year olds plan to use mobile devices to purchase this holiday season.
