BigCommerce Releases 67 New E-commerce Themes

BigCommerce announced 67 new beautiful and fully responsive themes designed to help merchants fully express the power of their brands and grow their businesses. Using modern merchandising capabilities and a clean, intuitive interface, retailers will be able to select e-commerce themes optimized for various catalog sizes, merchandise categories and promotions to create a seamless shopping experience for their customers across any device.

Built with modern merchandising and product display features as the foundation, the new themes are optimized for a variety of product catalog sizes, industries and promotions. By selecting one of the new themes, retailers have access to a number of features, including:

  • Optimized designs for mobile shoppers – Built for businesses ready to sell more across all devices, the new themes incorporate the latest advances in design to ensure the storefront is optimized for shoppers no matter what device they use to browse or purchase.
  • Seamless and Simple Customizations – Retailers will be able to customize the look and feel of their storefront in real time, including font and color palettes, branding, featured and top-selling collections, social media icons and more.
  • Built-in Faceted Search Functionality – Built-in faceted search improves customer experience by allowing customers to filter, discover and purchase products easily, thereby boosting conversion by up to 10%.
  • Optimized One-page Checkout – By featuring all fields on a single, responsive web page, customers are more likely to complete a purchase; retailers have seen up to a 12% increase in conversion through the new checkout experience.

BigCommerce’s new themes are available to select customers starting today, with availability for all customers later this month. The new themes can be purchased on the Theme Marketplace, with prices ranging from $145 to $235; in addition, seven styles of free themes are available.
