I have been using FireFox 3 since beta 3 or 4, and just realized that the location bar uses full text search of the title and URL of all pages in your history. Although it takes a second or two to search all that data, this is a great usability feature that at first I didn’t care for at first, but now love.

I use delicious, but SocialMarker (http://www.socialmarker.com) also has a button that let’s you save to about 30 different social bookmarking sites.

Handy for spreading blog posts.

I use Delicious Bookmarks as well, especially as a means to share bookmarks between computers. I then use a keyword for each type of bookmark with “ff:” in the front. So, all of my financial bookmarks are tagged with “ff:finance” and are likely marked as hidden. I can then mark that tag as a favorite, so it shows up on the Delicious toolbar and menu.

Michelle – the button set for the mac appears a bit different than when running FF3 on a pc. Could that be the difference?

Hm. I really like the look of your buttons, but my FF3 buttons don’t look like that. Is that a skin perhaps?

Re: green URL bar - FF3 does color part of the URL bar green when you visit certain sites. On top of that, instead of just the favicon appearing at the left, the company name appears as well (both appear in the green background). Example I think it has to do with the security certificate because when you hover your mouse over the shaded area you get a tooltip that says "Verified by: Verisign, Inc."
