I just started using Twhirl today. It is awesome.
I entered into Twitter using Snitter on your advice.. I found that it was horribly slow for some reason, which is sad because I like supporting Canadian programmers.. I jumped to Twhirl and haven’t looked back.
The only feature I would like to see in a Twitter client is perhaps spell checking.
I have an interesting issue with both that’s probably related to AIR rather than Snitter or Twhirl… sometimes I have to force quit them on the Mac.
Probably just the inferiority of a Mac.. HAHAHA! (opportunity to slam Mac’s comes up rarely and you gotta jump on it when it does!)
So Doug, when are you just going to program your own?
I’m a SaaS guy… build installable client software? blech!
Ah, but like it or not, even your Software as a Service (SaaS – for those of us who had to look it up) at some point requires installable client software, even if it’s as simple as a browser… Face it, ICS (?) owns us.
Time will tell!
