Video: Don’t Miss the Turkey Drop!

Perhaps one of the funniest scenes ever in television history, who can possibly forget the WKRP Turkey Drop?! (No smart comments from the young folks!

All kidding aside, tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day here in the United States. I’m not sure how Turkeys actually came to be the dinner of choice… historically I believe it was Venison. No matter what you eat or who you’re eating with, I hope you find something (or everything) in your life worth looking up to the sky over and giving thanks.

I’m absolutely thankful for the world of friends that I’ve accumulated over the last year… I’m not kidding when I tell you they are from all over the world. I’m thankful for the ingenuity of people to create a communication medium so efficient that we can build relationships across borders, politics or religion… or even a lack of religion. You are all my friends and I appreciate your diverse backgrounds, beliefs and ideas. My life is richer for it.

Much of the happiness in my life is owed to my two kids, Bill and Katie. Bill is a freshman at IUPUI and is tearing up his Physics and Math Studies (I think his grade in Calculus is 108!). He’s learning the cello now, a sharp transition from playing, composing and mixing guitar, bass, keyboard and drums the last few years. Katie just brought home A/B honor roll and is growing into a strong, proud, and brilliant young woman.

I’m thankful much more, but the list is too long to share with you here… health, work, future, country… and of course God. Thanks!

  • Thanx for the walk down memory lane....i *barely* remember WKRP, my parents used to watch it though.

Turkey is really good for you and tasty. Too bad it's popular once a year...
