Well, this democrat has a lot of respect for the guy, which probably spells the end of his presidential bid. How unfortunate is that!
  • That it is, Paul. It's a shame our media really doesn't work to get the real stories... I can not stand the questions consistently thrown to these guys that are asked just for generating soundbites or softballs.

It really is time that Americans start to do their homework, dig through the B.S. and figure out which candidate really has ALL of our interests at heart.
  • He is also a right-to-lifer, but says the federal government should not have a place in deciding that policy!

He's a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University!

Whenever he had patients that didn't have enough money and were going to apply for medicare or medicaid... he would service them for free or low price!

He also has kids that are now medical doctors and did not allow any of them to apply for federal grants!

I read all about this stuff today! He's such a sweet dude!
  • Hadn't heard of him previously, thanks for the info!
  • Hi Tony,

Isn't it sad that centrist Democrats and Republicans don't get the media coverage? It seems that we only like to read and hear about the extremes.... causing extreme differences between us. I don't want to go all John Lennon on folks, but I really do think Americans have more things in common than not.

I really like Obama as well, I think he's humble and thoughtful. I just hope he doesn't get swallowed up in the machine that we've created!

My point isn't to say 'Vote for Ron!', it's simply to point out that we really don't know much about the folks out there, do we?

    Doug
