I came across one cool feature of Jaiku tonight that I didn't realize Twitter didn't have... you can add RSS feeds to Jaiku. <a href="http://www.scobleizer.com" rel="nofollow">Robert Scoble</a> actually uses it pretty cool... he uses twitter and has his twitter feed pushed to Jaiku!!! So he's kind of using both services at the same time!

Yeah, been a Faceboker for a while now. Total geek, so I try and keep up on everything new and hot. It allows me to staty in touch with everyone, especial my boyfriend, when we are apart for the summer and may not be online at the sametime.

A search databse would be even better. So many sites have mobile version now. Why not a knowledage database as well.

You bet, Nick! I'll have a WordPress Plugin done very soon where you can show your latest Jaiku post (already working on my site) and even post directly from WordPress Admin (giving me a hard time since it's XML-RPC). I'm hoping someone throws me a Jaiku PHP post sample soon!

I'll make a big announcement once it's up!

Interestingly enough, I think it's the ability to republish feeds that make these new apps interesting. Jaiku has native RSS republishing, while Twitter needs a 3rd party like twitterfeed.com or rss2twitter.com

My money is on Tumblr for the win though. Tumblr does a very good job of microblogging, and they just added friends lists and mobile texting options.

Thanks for the heads up on Jaiku Doug, I also got bored with Twitter very rapidly and Jaiku looks like with all of its extra mashups could be a bit more meaningful.

That is a cool idea - and you could turn it into a searchable knowledge-base!

Thanks, Duane! This template has been up for a while... I think it's a keeper... my only change may be the overall page background image. I'm still toying with that.

I've not checked out <a href="http://www.facebook.com" rel="nofollow">Facebook</a> though it's on my list of things to do. My son has a Facebook profile so I'd like to connect and see why he likes it.

P.S. I just thought of something. It would be cool if there was a way to use the API and have customer service people Twitter/Jaiku your response back to you, especially if you are on the go and have it sent to you mobile device.
