Amazon Associates: Does anyone make any money?

I have to be honest… I love having my bookshelf on my blog and I love discussing books I’m reading with other bloggers. I don’t think I’ve ever made a dime on Amazon Associates, though. It makes me wonder if my associate account is broke or people simply just don’t buy books off of web sites.

My second honest point: I rarely shop at Amazon. I love Borders and their Cafe and their Rewards Program. I have an Internet account with T-Mobile so that I even spend more time there. (Sad, huh?) Where is the Border’s referral or affiliate program?

Today, I updated my bookshelf. Here are my current reads:
Mavericks at Work: Why the Most Original Minds in Business WinJesus CEO : Using Ancient Wisdom for Visionary LeadershipNever Eat Alone: And Other Secrets to Success, One Relationship at a Time

Let me know if you actually click and purchase any of these books. As well, I’d love your discussion of these books – or recommendations for others. I love reading… perhaps this is something in common between bloggers. Also, let me know if you actually make money with Amazon Associates.

I've had my blog for years and I've never made a cent with Amazon Associates. I make money with Google Adsense and I don't do anything! Amazon Associates is too much work for nothing.

I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one who doesn't make anything off Amazon I've had a shop and tried everything all I have ever made was £0.33p after 18 months do you think I should give up and do something useful like learn French.
  • I have been listing things on my some of my other websites and blogs for over 2 years and I still have not even reached the payout stage.
I really would like to hear from someone who is actually making some money as an amazon affiliate.
  • Good luck with that! I still haven't. :)
  • I haven't made anything, The only way you'll actually"bank" off of amazon associates is if you have tons of people visiting your site. Your better off finding some rare books and hawkin them on ebay
