Is Google Adsense for Search broken?

Google AdsenseA few weeks ago, I integrated Google Adsense with my site’s search. When I first integrated it, it appeared to run fantastically. However, of late it sucks. Nobody can search for anything on my site.

Here’s a great example… searching for “Spam”:

The typical Google search works great. But the Google Adsense for Search sucks… it doesn’t even come up with my best posts. Has anyone else seen this occur with their sites? I’m going to give it a few more weeks and then I’m pulling it.

    Yep.. Google is THE WORST in adsense.. moment you reach 100$ they will disable your account.. So they keep the money advertisers pay and do not pay the publishers. no wonder their advertise revenues are much higher.
    I hate google adsense.. It is the syndicate.. its a scam..

    I've not experienced this. I've been on Adsense for a few months and have been paid without any issues. I was warned once not to tell users to click the ads, I didn't realize that it was against their user agreement. I'm careful not to do that anymore.

    I don't believe it's a scam, it's a viable business that's advertisers love - otherwise they wouldn't use it. :)

  • I tried AdSense for Search couple of weeks ago, but I had to drop it because the payout was too low + I was sending my readers to some other sites through search, i couldn't set my blog as the default radio box (It violated Adsense TOS). Overall, AdSense for search sucks !!
